Speech Pathologist
Full Time and Part Time
Flexible Hours
$75,000 - $90,000 (Pro-rata)
A position exists for a fully qualified, enthusiastic, self-motivated speech pathologist.
This position provides an opportunity to work with other speech pathologists, in a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals in a supportive and instructive environment. Applicants should be positive, proactive, flexible, and confident in their ability to develop rapport with a predominantly paediatric caseload of clients.

What we are looking for
We are looking for experienced Speech Pathologists and new graduates who are interested in working in paediatrics
Whilst the successful candidates may not necessarily have extensive clinical experience, they should be positive, flexible and be confident in their ability to develop rapport with clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organisational, time management and record keeping skills

Tasks & Responsibilities
Assess and provide intervention to referred clients
Write comprehensive reports and maintain appropriate clinical documentation
Plan and deliver effective and evidence-based therapy services
Maintain and update their clinical skills
Be clinic-based, but may conduct services off-site at venues such as schools and pre-schools
Be able to work independently, with access to resources, supervision, support, professional development and colleagues within the practice
Essential Criteria
A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology
Eligible for membership in Speech Pathology Australia
Current driving license
Current Working with Children Check

A position exists for a new graduate who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and interested in paediatric speech pathology.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a passionate, people person who can build and maintain rapport with families, is willing to learn and who is curious and analytical.
Someone who has a playful nature or is willing to learn play-based techniques.
Must have completed a tertiary Speech Pathologist qualification.
Whilst the successful candidates may not necessarily have extensive clinical experience, they should be positive, flexible and be confident in their ability to develop rapport with clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organisational, time management and record-keeping skills, especially conscious of careful and articulate clinical note-taking.
