Hills District Allied Health is the collaborative result of two very established and successful practices; Hills Speech Pathology and Think Out Loud Clinical Psychology. We have a 20-year history of providing high quality, multidisciplinary therapeutic services in the heart of the Hills District, northwest of Sydney.
Hills District Allied Health provides evidence-based intervention across the life span. We have established referral networks, and excellent relationships with schools, medical practitioners and other allied health professionals in the area.

Mary Harris Clark
Principal Speech Pathologist
B.App.Sc.(SpPath) Grad.Dip.Ed. (Inf/Prim)
Mary enjoys sharing her 35 years of experience as a speech pathologist with her team through supervision and mentoring. Mary has a particular interest in managing language disorders and literacy difficulties in school-aged children. Mary has also worked in schools in special education and consultative roles. Mary has produced three resource books for teachers on using language games in a classroom setting.
Megan Christie
Principal Speech Pathlogist
B.App.Sc.(SpPath)
Megan has 34 years of experience as a speech language pathologist working in a variety of clinical settings. She has extensive experience working with children of all ages with varied communication difficulties. Megan has a passion for delivering evidence based, effective intervention in an enjoyable environment. Megan provides professional supervision to HDAH staff to develop clinically excellent, professional, and empathetic speech pathologists.
Megan Taylor
Principal Psychologist
M Psych (Clin) MAPS
Megan is a Clinical Psychologist with experience spanning thirty years. She has worked in a hospital, community and private practice settings, with clients across the life span. Megan is committed to applying evidence-based techniques, creatively and compassionately to address complex psychological issues. She is also a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.



Nelani Webster
Speech Pathologist
B. App.Sc (ScPath)
Nelani is passionate about her work with children as a speech pathologist. Her playful and engaging approach makes her an engaging therapist. Nelani is patient and offers empathy to her clients and their families.
Christine Salem
Speech Pathologist
B. App.Sc (ScPath)
Christine is a certified practicing speech pathologist who enjoys working with children from 0-to 18 years. Christine treats children across a range of practice areas including speech sounds, language, fluency and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Leanne Brown
Provisional Psychologist
B Psych (Hons)
Leanne is a passionate mental health advocate who has special interests in anxiety disorders, depression, work, and life transition stress, hoarding disorder, child and adolescent mental health, parenting support for behavioural management, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and social skills and self-esteem. Leanne works with clients of all ages.
Katie McGivern
Speech Pathologist
Katie is passionate about her work with children as a speech pathologist. Her playful and engaging approach makes her approachable and effective in therapy.
Kristy Micallef
Client Experience Manager
Kristy is a compassionate and friendly member of the team who is passionate about providing clients with quality care. Kristy is approachable and efficient, she looks forward to greeting you in our clinic. Kristy is an allied health student who is working towards being a paramedic, she also volunteers at St John's Ambulance in her spare time.

Medicare
Assistance with fees may be provided by Medicare under the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme (Psychology Services). The Enhanced Primary Care Program (Speech Pathology Services)
Early Intervention Services for children with ASD/PDD (Speech Pathology). We recommend that you contact your G.P. prior to commencing intervention to determine your eligibility.
NDIS
Hills District Allied Health is a registered service provider under the National disability Insurance Scheme. We provide services to self-managed, plan managed and NDIA- managed clients.

Private Health Fund
Rebates for speech pathology and psychology services may be available through your health private fund, depending on your health fund and level of coverage. We recommend that you contact your health fund prior to commencing intervention to determine your eligibility.

Privately Funded
Clients are welcome to fund all therapies at Hills District Allied Health privately. Clients who prefer this method of payment for therapy are not required to be a member of a private health fund, or to provide any referral from a GP or otherwise prior to the first appointment.
